Dana is a LA-based drummer, band leader, playback tech + instructor.

 

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Dana holds a bachelors degree in music from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. There, he was a member of the New Jersey Percussion Ensemble and William Paterson New Music Ensemble.

Dana has toured with Maggie Rogers, BANKS, MAX (Max Schneider), Penguin Prison, JOSEPH, Grace Mckagan, Ron Pope, Doe Paoro, Mating Ritual, Crazy and the Brains, The Bones of J.R. Jones, LEAN, White Prism, Jounce, and Waking Lights. He has also performed alongside artists such as Halsey, Ingrid Address, Sasha Alex Sloan, Cash Cash, Pronoun, Erich Bergen (Jersey Boys), Alex Newell (Glee), Charlene Kaye, Born Cages, Sam Dew, Psychic Twin, Emma Charles, Garii, Secret Islands, and many more over the years.

He has accompanied artists on Saturday Night Live, The Ellen Show, ACL Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Later... with Jools Holland, The Late Late Show with James Corden, NPR Music's Tiny Desk, CBS Saturday Morning, Triple J's Like a Version, MTV's Artist To Watch, Palladia/MTV LIVE, NBC's The Today Show, Sunday Brunch (UK), and VH1's Big Morning Buzz.

Dana is a proud player of Ludwig Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Remo Drum Heads, Vater Drum Sticks and SKB Cases.
